I have now been training since the beginning of March and have been doing it 6 days a week (except during vacation, did not have enough energy at the end of the day to go to a hot gym to train when I'm already doing it outside with my son).
The problem is that I cannot see the result that probably others can do and that can sometimes lower my motivation if I cannot see any results.
I still know that I increase in muscle mass and some clothes started to become too small.
Here is a picture of how I looked before I started training:
This is how I looked in May:
Training schedule and what apps I currently use
Here is the training schedule I started with:
Here is how my training schedule has been looking since March (changed the schedule a couple of weeks ago, will come in a later post:
Monday: Legs
Tuesday: Back
Wednesday: Shoulders
Thursday: Arms & Abs
Friday: Legs
Saturday: Chest
Sunday: Rest
Before Stockholm Marathon, I also had running on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, but because of my injury during Stockholm Marathon, I had to stop that and have not run consistently since then (will start during Autumn).
Apps and Gear:
Daily Strength (Not used when running)
Samsung Gear S3 Frontier Watch (Only Used for Running)
Now, regarding to the Samsung S3 watch, I tried to use this for my training schedule instead of “Daily Strength” app, but the problem I had was with the limited amount of exercises and that you could not create your own training program I S-health and have it prompt each session on the watch, so now I only use the Watch for running.
I will continue this log for my training, update every week on the training schedule, how it is going and gains in weights.
Every month I will measure arms, chest, legs to get some statistics on that.
